Amazon Prime Day deals

Amazon Prime Day is now over … until next time.

Amazon Prime Day finishes today and has arguably better deals than Black Friday. You do need to be a Amazon Prime customer, but you can sign up to a 30 day trial and cancel before your time is up. Click on the banner below for your free trial:

I’ll add any new deals I find to this list so keep checking back. And if there is something you like I’d get in quick, and just return it if you decide you don’t want it – the deals don’t tend to last for too long!

Most of these products I’ve reviewed here and on my YouTube channel, so please feel free to watch the accompanying video to help you decide. My videos are usually quite detailed, so may also help you get started once you’ve made a purchase.

I’ve listed the prices in UK pounds, but the links should take you to your local Amazon!

As an Amazon affiliate I earn from qualifying purchases, but it doesn’t cost you anything extra. I hope you find something you’re after!

Aftershockz Aeropex£149.95£103.95AmazonThese are my go to running headphones. My review: YouTube
AfterShokz OpenMove£79.95£63.96AmazonThese are a little heavier than the Aeropex’s but have the advantage of USB-C charging and are a lot cheaper. My review: YouTube
Anker Soundcore Liberty Air 2 Pro£129.99£79.99AmazonSome of the best value earbuds I’ve tested, with good sound, pretty decent ANC and very good call quality. My review: YouTube
Amazon Echo Buds£119.99£49.99AmazonI’ve not reviewed these earbuds yet , but a great price if you’re in the Amazon ecosystem
Amazon Fire Stick 4K£49.99£26.99AmazonMost of Amazon own devices have the best reductions of the year, but the 4K Fire Stick is always a good place to start
Apple TV 32GB 4th Gen£139£119AmazonNot a huge reduction, but still a good price. Obviously works well with Apple devices, but also a great option with Zwift, if you’re into cycling
LG XBOOM Go PL7£129£79.99AmazonA slick Bluetooth speaker from LG. Not the loudest speaker, but nicely built with good clarity. I reviewed its smaller sibling the PL5, but it shares many of its features and you can hear how this speaker sounds in the review too: YouTube
Tribit StormBox Micro£41.99£33.59AmazonOne of my favourite take-anywhere Bluetooth speakers: My review: YouTube
Tronsmart Force 40W£59.99£43.34AmazonA decent amount of bass and volume for a fairly compact, budget speaker. YouTube
Soundcore Motion+£99.99£69.99AmazonStill one of my favourite all-round Bluetooth speakers. My review: YouTube
Soundcore Motion Boom£89.99£62.99AmazonAnother Anker Soundcore Prime Day offer. Not the flashiest speaker, but sounds good with lots of volume. My review: YouTube
Soundcore Life Q30 Noise Cancelling£79.99£55.99AmazonThese are hard to beat noise cancelling headphones even at their RRP. My review: YouTube
GoPro Hero 8 bundle£329.99£249.99AmazonNot the latest model, so you don’t have the front facing screen and the replaceable lens, but you still get the super smooth stabilisation and some very useful extras. My review: YouTube
Acer Nitro 5 Gaming Laptop£749.99£679.99AmazonI reviewed the model with the 1650Ti, but this is still a good price for an entry level gaming laptop. My review: YouTube
HP Pavilion 15 Gaming Laptop£649.99£529.99Amazon I’ve not reviewed this laptop yet, but this is a great price for a a laptop with these specs. I don’t imagine this deal will last long
Ticwatch Pro 4G/LTE Smartwatch£249.99£133.99AmazonA Google Wear OS feature rich rugged smartwatch. My review: YouTube
Garmin Forerunner 45£159.99£105AmazonAn entry level running watch, but with most of the features you’ll ever need. Being replaced by the Forerunner 55, but that costs a lot more
Garmin Forerunner 245£249.99£169AmazonI’ve not reviewed this one, but a super popular running watch for the more serious runner, and it looks pretty good too
Garmin fēnix 6 Pro£599.99£375AmazonI’m in the process of reviewing the Coros Apex Pro – usually a cheaper alternative to this watch albeit with fewer featuers – but not with this deal! And the standard Fenix 6 is even cheaper!
Jackery Portable Power Station Explorer 240£259.99£207.99AmazonHandy for charging almost anything, with Pure Sine Wave output for more sensitive electronics. My review: YouTube
Jackery SolarSaga 100W Portable Solar Panel £259.99£181.99AmazonIn the process of reviewing this now, but works with all of Jackery’s portable power stations. It’s very easy to use and well made. Charges the above Explorer 240 in under 7 hours with decent sunshine. This is pretty decent reduction.
Jackery Portable Power Station Explorer 500£529.99£423.99AmazonIn the process of reviewing this too – but very similar to the Explorer 240 above, just with more capacity and output
Jackery Portable Power Station Explorer 1000£1099.99£879.99AmazonBig money, but this can power pretty much everything including, including some power tools, a microwave oven, and even a small heater! But it doesn’t come cheap, even with the 20% reduction. Review coming soon …
Flir One iOS
Thermal Imaging Camera
£202.41£131.99AmazonPerhaps an odd inclusion, but this is a great price for a useful gadget. Thermal imaging cameras have various uses around the house. I use this one to check whether some of the tech I test is overheating – particularly useful for laptops.
